Remedial Soft Tissue Therapy
Advanced Remedial Soft Tissue Therapy isn’t just about treating the bit that hurts, it’s understanding what has caused the dysfunction in the first place and where it is truly coming from, so that we can get you back to where you want to be. Pain free (and staying there!).

Remedial massage includes advanced assessments and techniques that are designed to get to the route cause of your issue.
This is truly a tailored, specific approach, aimed at the symptoms you are presenting with.
Sports Massage
Sports massage is for those looking to increase their sporting performance, stay injury free or to rehab back from soft tissue injuries.

I use a combination of general massage techniques and advanced stretch and mobility techniques in treatments to get you feeling great.

As with al of my treatments, there is no one-size-fits-all approach. Runners have different needs to cyclists, and cyclists have different needs to gym goers or martial artists. Treatments will reflect this, so that you go away feeling amazing and ready to push further in your chosen sport than ever before.

Dry Needling
Using fine, sterile acupuncture needles, dry needling is a precision technique that is targeted at myofascial trigger points. Unlike acupuncture that targets Chi/Ki (energy) and the meridian lines of the body, dry needling targets trigger points within the muscles, that are local to the site of dysfunction.
You may typically think of these as ‘knots’ but they are much more than that.
Trigger points can actually cause a referral pattern to other areas of the body and can be a great source of pain. If you’ve got a stubborn pain that won’t go away, and you’ve tried everything else then it could be a trigger point. This type of treatment (unlike traditional acupuncture) normally goes hand in hand with massage.
Exercise Prescription
If you’re trying to rehab back from an injury or just need some exercises to compliment your treatments and allow the changes to truly last, then I also offer exercise prescription as well. Soft tissue therapy and exercise go hand in hand, and it is important to combine the two to get a lasting result. This usually is part of your homecare, but can be incorporated into your treatment if required.
